In the first week of March 2026 a team of four students from Capernwray College helped us with an outreach week. Activities achieved whilst the student were with us included a charity stall on Queen Street, a session of Art in the Garden, a Spring Event & Tea at Jubilee Court welcoming 19 residents plus a Pensioners Luncheon when 40 guests sat down to a meal and gospel presentation. During the week 9 Pilgrims Progress Bible Exhibitions were presented to 400 pupils in five local primary schools, each pupil was given the Day One workbook on John Bunyan. The students took a school assembly,  delivered 1500 Good News Newspapers plus 40 gospel calendars and 20 Christian children’s comics to locals in the street and their homes. Our Church gap year workers, assisted by the students, also ran a Hungarian Folk Dance evening which attracted 34 adults over half of which were visitors.
