We held a Family Craft Cafe at 4pm on Sunday 28 June, this was an informal family event with craft work and a short story followed by tea. Claudine Uwizeye, youth worker at Cannon Park Congregational Church was our guest presenter.

At 4pm on Sunday 19 April 2015 we launched the first of a new venture, a Family Craft Cafe. This is an informal family event with activities like craft work,  singing, videos and a short story followed by tea. The inaugural meeting included a session where prizes earned at the holiday club were awarded by The Mayor of Morley.

Claudine Uwizeye, youth worker at Cannon Park Congregational Church, who ran the holiday club also lead this first Family Craft Cafe.

Future Family Craft Cafe events will be held at regular intervals throughout the year.

On Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 April 2015 we held a Children’s Holiday Club at the Wesley Playhouse in Howden Clough. In addition to use of the play gym activities included craft work, Bible story, singing, memory verse and other fun activities. Our Guest speaker was Claudine Uwizeye, youth worker at Cannon Park Congregational Church, Middlesborough.

We ran a children’s Holiday Club for ages 5-11 on the mornings of 8 -12th April 2014 at the Wesley Playhouse. The week was concluded with a prize giving service at 10am on Sunday 13 April. Our guest speaker was Andrew Devis.

On Thursday 23 January the YSix club (for children in school years 6 and 7) was re-launched with a new group of children. The new club will meet at the annexe at Fountain Primary from 6.15 to 7.30pm on Thursdays in school term time.

New members from school Year 6 are welcome.

The new venture is partly financed by a grant from the West Yorkshire Police Community Trust.

On Wednesday 24 April we launched a new Parent and Toddlers Club called Fountain Tots.

This is for children under the age of 5 along with their carer(s). All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The club meets in the  Annexe at Fountain Primary School on Wednesdays from 9.00-11.30am in term time.

Please note that the access arrangements with the school do not allow visitors to go directly to the Annexe after 9.30am. Please try to be at the club by 9.30 or if you arrive late please register at school reception before going to the Annexe.
